Rudder bottom. MINOR WOOD REPAIR
Removed front and rear canopies. They are wrapped in flanellette and stored inside timber framed crates covered in builders plastic.
Removed canopy hinges and main pin cover plates. Some of the wood screw holes are oversized, requiring new larger screws. Consider stainless steel screws with Phillips heads instead of current flat screwdriver head screws.
Front microphone boom is loose – attachment to be fixed, screw holes may need epoxy filling.
Removed rudder pedal cover and unhooked 2 x return springs – TO BE REPLACED.
Removed 4 bolts from front panel rubber dampers for access to rudder pedals and numerous cable ties which hold panel on cross bar. Replaced these 4 screws but ONLY FINGER TIGHT.

Removed skid and nose release access plate, also canvas shrouds and inner tube damper. Screws are not uniform, some are small, some large (very likely due to oversized wood screw holes). RECTIFY WITH NEW SAME SIZE SCREWS, PERHAPS EPOXY FILLING REQUIRED.
