Another productive paint stripping day.

There are a few spots to be detailed, but otherwise the old topcoat is GONE!
Next item on the list is to ask St. Peter to come and sanctify the work so far, help us prepare a re-coating plan for the fuselage and give us some advice about how to rejuvenate the paint job on tailplane, ailerons and rudder.
We also need a bit of yellow Oratex to fix the small cut sustained in one of the wings while placing it into the workshop at CCSC – Pete has already indicated that he is willing to swap for our canopies, so we do have a starting point for further negotiations…..
In the meantime I’ll get busy with giving the fuselage a light sanding to get it ready for the epoxy seal coat. Laurie is going on yet another trip to Qld to spoil his grandkids some more – if I was less trusting I’d suspect that the prospect of sanding about 10 m2 of plywood had something to do with this!
