Liz and I had a week’s holiday down on the Murray in Victoria. On return I had a message from Pete advising he was back from Qland and that he was available to do an inspection prior to us applying the paint coats.

Before I went away I started fixing up a couple of minor breaks in the horizontal stabiliser trailing edge protrusions.

This is the result:

Another de-gluing was found on the cut-out of the starboard fuselage wing root plate.

Applied flocked epoxy and clamped.

Also took pics of the damage on the inside cockpit wall, will ask Pete how he would go about fixing these.

We had known about the crack in the wall of the front seat, however there is also a larger crack near the bottom of the backseat. It was hidden by duct tape.

I’ve inserted a paddlepop stick to make the crack visible. The cables are for the antenna and radio.
